In the year 1913, as the specter of war looms over Britain, Rudyard Kipling's fateful decision to enlist his son, severely short-sighted, in the impending conflict sets off a heartbreaking family feud. Despite his deep love for his children, especially his son, Kipling finds himself torn between his familial emotions and his unwavering loyalty to his country and its king. This internal strife plunges the celebrated patriot into a profound turmoil, questioning the very essence of his core beliefs.
