The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe

14th to 17th February 2018

Performances took place at the 1st Poulner Scout Hall

Director - Lucie Evans

Poulner Players were truly delighted to introduce the local community to the first-ever amateur production of this captivating show in Ringwood. The group's passion for bringing cherished tales to life shone brightly in their rendition of this mystical narrative. Inspired by the beloved story penned by C.S. Lewis from 'The Chronicles of Narnia' series, the plot intricately unfurled before the audience's eyes.

Transported to a time of wartime upheaval, four courageous children seek solace in an old country manor, unwittingly embarking on a breathtaking journey through a portal hidden within a wardrobe's depths. As Lucy, the youngest, ventures into the enchanting winter realm beyond, the audience eagerly follows her encounters with talking animals and a formidable Sorceress. Every decision made by the children resonates with the weight of an ancient prophecy, teetering between Narnia's salvation from imminent peril and the haunting specter of desolation in icy ruins.
