This delightful comedy production is inspired by the remarkable true story of Florence Foster Jenkins. A prominent New York socialite, she pursued her passion for singing despite her lack of musical talent, firmly believing in her abilities. Encouraged by close friends, she entertained in intimate settings to shield herself from potential ridicule. Her journey culminated in a memorable and iconic public recital at the prestigious Carnegie Hall when she was 76 years old - a performance that continues to captivate audiences to this day.
