19th to 22nd February 2014
Performances took place at St. John’s Church Hall
There's imminent trouble brewing in the ancient city of Baghdad! The fate of the city hangs in the balance as the Princess Jasmina faces the threat of losing everything to the evil Vizier if she doesn't marry before turning 21. The situation seems dire, but hope emerges in the form of a quirky group of aspiring heroes! Leading the charge is the affectionate yet love-struck Ali Barber, supported by his bumbling sibling Singbad the sailor and their formidable mother, Dame Barber. Joining forces with this trio are their confidante 'Bob,' a mysterious youth harboring a hidden agenda, a whimsical pantomime camel named Humpy, and a mystical Genie trapped inside a magical ruby, yearning for liberation from her extended confinement.
