About Playmates

Playmates - The Friends of Poulner Players is our exciting new initiative that aims to bring together likeminded individuals who share a passion for the arts and community theater. Through this program, we hope to strengthen and further our important work, while fostering a supportive network for both participants and supporters alike.

Members will, through a dedicated sub-committee, help to organise various fundraising events, engaging social gatherings, and will be readily available to assist in manning the front-of-house as well as performing other essential jobs during our performances.

Being enthusiastic and proactive will be essential attributes for all members of Playmates. These qualities not only foster a positive environment but also contribute significantly to the overall success of our productions.

Membership to this exclusive club will be taken once a year from the date of sign-up and will cost a total of £25. This membership money will not only be used as a budget for the initiative but will also serve to cover all members under our comprehensive insurance policy, ensuring that everyone involved is protected and supported in their activities.

Not only do you help us in our mission, but we also make it a priority to help you by offering exclusive benefits such as advanced ticket sales to our upcoming shows. Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to vote on the specific productions you would like us to bring to our stage.

Furthermore, we will ensure your contributions receive recognition through an honorable mention in all of our show programmes. We are also actively exploring more perks and benefits that will be created in the future to enhance your experience further.
